It's finally here: the conclusion to our overview of the last hundred years of the Christian right. We discuss the end of the Cold War, Pat Robertson's failed 1988 presidential run, black helicopters and FEMA camps, the X-Files, the emergence of hyper-masculinity and more. But first we touch base on the fallout of the Thomas Achord controversy and ask, Why is kinism such a third rail even among pretty racist groups and organizations?

We are also excited to announce that going into 2023, we will be broadening our focus to include not just analysis of the far right (though that will not be going away), but also a more positive and expansive view of what being an unashamedly progressive Christian might look like.
