How We Miss God Through Religion
Today, I sit down and talk to author Micheal Ward about
Religion vs Relationship with God.
We also talk about different religions, how to read the Bible in a year, and what are the fruits of the spirit?
Oftentimes, we can miss a wholesome relationship with God with religion. Religion can be rule based, where as, our relationship with God is heart-based.
In his book The Sixth Sola, Micheal explains a clear relationship with God, and how to grow deeper with God by reading the Bible each day. His framework will help you map out a plan to complete your goal to grow with God.
Michael Joseph Ward (born July 7, 1961) is the youngest of four of a split Roman Catholic/Presbyterian/Lutheran family.
Due to the complexity of the various messages heard, he developed a system of reading the New Testament, one chapter a day, in pursuit of the essential message amongst the many promoted by others.
It became clear that no one “Church” owned the message, but our common Scriptures suggest a core principle to walk in the Spirit. We are each called to a renewed mind, a transformation for every moment, as we have another day to produce more fruit of the Spirit for God’s creation.
His first book, "The Sixth Sola' is released in June 2020.
