In today's Gospel reading, the words of Jesus are troubling. Was Jesus being racist calling the Canaanite woman a dog? And what does it tell us when He responds to her, with, "Great is your faith"? Moral superiority is a perversion of Christianity, evil is evil, and racism is sin. It must be repented, it must be dismantled, and the church needs to take the lead.
