In this section of Proverbs, Solomon is coaching his son on how to live life at its best. By extension, Jesus is telling us how to live our lives at their best.

Throughout this section, we’ll see instructions from Solomon to his son and from Jesus to us. God wants us to do something. He gives instructions to direct us, and those instructions are quickly followed by incentives.
