The so-called "BreadTube" community emerged as a direct response to far-right extremism online, creating video essays to deconstruct hateful ideologies[reference:0]. By using "algorithmic hijacking"—deliberately engaging with right-wing topics to pull viewers into leftist videos—these creators feed the same outrage loop that radicalizes viewers on the far-right[reference:1]. The platform's algorithm, which rewards emotionally charged content, traps viewers in a feedback loop where dissent is demonized and ideological purity becomes a virtue[reference:2][reference:3]. This isn't just entertainment. This is political radicalization.
