It's that time of year where we reflect on how the year has progressed and how that compares with our projections and estimates.  

Often, what we set out to achieve in our #scrum environment doesn't match up with what we anticipated. Sometimes, it's something as drastic as a global pandemic with national lockdowns around the world.  

At other times, it's simply that we didn't know how to solve the problem or create the product and it took on a life of it's own under development.  

#productdevelopment can be like that. Especially if you work in an environment where the vast number of variables are unknown.  

So how do you conduct an annual review? What should be the areas you focus on? How can you conduct the #review in a way that empowers you to learn from the experience and hit the ground running in the new year?  

John McFadyen walks us through his process for an #annualreview and provides some insights into what has worked for him personally as well as how he would recommend you proceed with reviews in the future.
