Guys, we're FINALLY here! If you're listening & thinking to yourself "what the f, these girls sound like they're chatting in a bathroom..." um yeah, we had A LOT of tech issues when recording ep 1 & 2. We absolutely do not want you to think this is the standard moving forward, we have already purchased new mics ready to roll from ep 3 & beyond. The reason we didn't re-record is simple - we couldn't capture this content again even if we tried. What was spoken about here was too special to recreate, & we are BIG believers in authenticity.

Okay… this one got a little deeper.

In the middle of our planning day, Siarn came across a post that stopped her in her tracks — and decided to read it to us.

It was about friendship. Motherhood. Feeling like you’ve lost a little bit of yourself somewhere along the way. And how sometimes, an invitation isn’t really about whether someone can make it…

It’s about reminding them that there will always be a seat for them.

And suddenly we went from talking about launching a podcast to talking about the people we are outside of being mums, wives and everything else life asks us to be.

This little moment is just a snippet of what we hope to bring to However We Got Here — honest conversations, different perspectives, the things we don’t always say out loud, and hopefully a few moments that make you feel a little less alone.

The nerves are real. The excitement is real. And so is the little voice wondering… is anyone actually going to listen to this? 😂

But perspective is everything.

300 followers might sound small on a screen.
Put 300 people in a room and suddenly it feels pretty bloody big.

And honestly, we said from the very beginning that even if nobody listened, this podcast would still be worth doing.

A place for us to talk.
To heal.
To connect.
To raise awareness.
To get creative.
To make something that’s ours.

Part 2 of 3. The countdown continues…

So… this is real.

Our first time on camera. Our first planning day. And the first time we realised that having a good idea is actually the easy part. 😂

We’ve spent months dreaming it up, planning it and bringing it to life.

Now we just have to… you know… actually do it.

It’s giving pregnancy. The pregnancy was fun. Now it’s time to push the fucking baby out. 🫠

And the million dollar question:

Will anyone listen?
