I once traveled to San Jose Costa Rica and then had to take a bus all the way to the pacific west coast to go fishing. It was a grueling drive of several hours through jungles and steep mountain rocky roads that were little more than trails. About half way through the journey the driver inexplicably stopped the bus and got out and walked across the road. He cupped his hand over his mouth and began grunting and suddenly a couple of howling monkeys appeared in the trees, and their screams attracted others and before I knew it, they were joined by dozens of the nasty looking critters. They were screaming for all they were worth and jumping up and down in the trees like they had lost their minds.
