Stepping through this time is London based Folarin Fadairo. One of the Higher State residents, Folarin takes us on a journey through the deep with bumping, minimal Detroit inspired House and Techno. Smooth like butter and a tracklist to die for, he brings to the surface some forgotten gems that you'll be peeping for on Discogs.
Some words from Folarin:
"The mix really came about from boredom during lockdown hence the title Rona. Early into lockdown I started a new job where I’d never met any of my colleagues and I, along with the rest of the nation had restrictions on movements so found it a bit of a struggle and I guess I found solace in music amongst other things. Took a while to actually get it done but happy with the finished product. As with most of my mixes, the mood starts off upbeat and gradually gets darker as it progresses. Tracks are varied, earliest release is 1996 and the most recent May this year. All vinyl so excuse the occasional crackle!"
