Jannah Scott brings more than 35 years of experience serving at the intersection of government, faith, and the nonprofit community. She has held numerous leadership roles over the decades, always with a focus on strengthening communities and supporting those who serve. In March 2009, she joined President Obama’s administration as Deputy Director of the Center for Faith‑Based and Neighborhood Partnerships within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Her work there helped build bridges between federal resources and the faith and community organizations working on the front lines.

Every child’s first school is their home. Homeschool Companion strives to support the 2 million families that home school their children each year. Hosted by Rose Gamblin, the program is dedicated to home-based education and making the most of the learning experience through student centeredness and differentiated instruction.
