HSFB: Rebels Roll Past HHCA To Open Title Defense
Thomas Heyward Academy officially launched its SCISA 1A title defense with a convincing 46-22 win over visiting Hilton Head Christian Academy on Friday.
Former Rebel Bobby Payne returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown to give HHCA a 7-0 lead, but the Rebels responded with 30 consecutive points and led 30-14 at halftime.
The Rebels (1-0) travel to John Paul II (0-1) next Friday, while the Eagles (0-1) host Memorial Day on Saturday.
