General Hydroponics CEO was in-studio w/ the CEO of The Hawthorne Gardening Company who recently purchased Gen Hydro for a reported $130 million. There has been alot of backlash in the hydroponics community over the acquisition and the boys all came into studio along w/ Vermicrop, who was also purchased, to set the record straight and tell us about the future of the hydroponics industry w/ Gen Hydro and what we should expect. The Hawthorne Gardening Company is a subsidiary of Scotts Miracle Grow who also is the #1 distributor of Roundup, which is a Monsanto GMO company. Many people are irritated about this move and Heavy T gets down to the bottom of it.
