#015 - Most people are law-abiding citizens and don't expect to have an encounter with the police. But sometimes you will find that you are in a situation where you have to interact with them.

This podcast topic came about because a listener was pulled over once for a moving violation and she was a nervous wreck and didn't know what to do. 

Others chimed in that although they had never been pulled over, they also wanted to know what to do.

That was a GREAT question and it led to even more questions about etiquette and proper protocol in a variety of situations. 

I am grateful that Lt. Steve Riback of the LVMPD graciously accepted my invitation to answer these questions and more.

He also talks about how being a police officer is a high-tension job and one that requires the officer to be alert at all times for any potential threat.
