Today’s app is called Hukilau Slate – while it means to catch fish, this app has nothing to do with fishing. Hukilau is a clapboard for video. You can use it to put together your movies or short videos.

A clapboard tells you the scene, which take it was and how long the clip was. When you put it in your journal you can match up the clapboard video with what you wrote down.

Appsfire is a website that tells you which apps your friends are using. Register with the site and add some friends. When they load an app you are notified.

At first I missed the iPad app. There is not only an iPad but a Android app for Appsfire.
