These traps often stem from our brain's tendency to rely on simplified mental processes, or heuristics, when faced with complex situations. Instead of carefully analyzing all available information, individuals may unconsciously rely on these mental shortcuts, which can sometimes lead to faulty conclusions or decisions. In essence, Human Factor traps highlight how certain cognitive biases and tendencies can influence our thinking and behavior in ways that may not always be optimal or accurate.
