Jesus swam upstream. Everything he did was counter to the culture that he lived in. Even in his death on the cross - Jesus was focused on his destiny to bring new life into this world.

Swimming upstream against the current seems like it would be a lot of work... but for Jesus, it came naturally. It was who he was. It is who he is. He could approach any challenge from a place of rest, knowing that His father was working all things out on his behalf. 

When we swim upstream - and against the culture the world has built around us, our families, our workplaces and education systems - we too can have REST.
