In this interview, we wanted to close off Human Rights month in South Africa by talking about our responsibilities that go along with the Bill of Rights. We wanted have this discussion to encourage our listeners why it is still important to remain active citizens who positively influence communities. Through the month, many of listeners have been despondent on the realization of human rights and focused on how human rights has failed communities.

Our next guest is a retired Justice of the Constitutional Court who recently turned 90 and still spends his time advancing human rights. Tomorrow, he will be speaking at the Durban University of Technology at the Linguistic Human Rights Dialogue on language rights in court proceedings and the broader justice system.
