*This programme contains themes of a sensitive nature which some listeners may find upsetting. Listener discretion is advised.*
It's International Women's Day, and women's rights are at the forefront of many of our minds. This episode focuses on the systematic failings in our country for victims of human and child trafficking. Many of these victims are women and girls. Many of them remain invisible to both the Irish system and to society.
I am joined by MEP Maria Walsh and Barrister Lorraine Lally to discuss the changes that need to be made in Ireland and Europe, and how people can recognise the signs that may mean someone has been trafficked.
