In this episode, I explore emerging technology that could reshape mobility and manufacturing over the next decade: humanoid robots powered by advanced artificial intelligence. In Germany, a collaboration between the Technical University of Munich and NEURA Robotics is building one of the world’s largest training centers designed specifically to teach these robots how to operate safely alongside people in real-world environments. However, the technology raises difficult questions. As robots become more capable, how do we ensure they behave safely around humans? I discuss the challenges of AI bias, training data limitations, and the need for clear safety guidelines before humanoid robots move from experimental labs into factories, warehouses, and public spaces.
