A prideful heart does not say it needs forgiveness. Acknowledging our own rebellious nature. David chose to live by his own moral code and broke God’s moral code in the process. Sinning against other people is sinning against God. The Joy of Salvation, His forgiveness is reason to sing. Going to God with your heart broken wide open in humility and submit to God who is Love.
