We all want to succeed….to be somebody. So, we often try to help things along in the effort to exalt ourselves. Yet, Jesus teaches us that people look on the outside. He looks at our heart. And He reminds us that if we simply humble ourselves here in this life, He will exalt us. Why would we try to do something that God already said He would do?
