Peter Reynolds continues our series focusing mostly on Mark 2. We meet the Pharisees and see that Jesus quickly makes enemies of these Pharisees. They believe that Jesus is challenging their power – beginning the pattern of people misunderstanding the real mission of Jesus. We'll see that Jesus ministers with authority and humility – in contrast with the Pharisees. And we learn that Jesus – and therefore ourselves – came to heal the sick, the lame, the blind – those most in need.
