HUMILITY ATTRACTS GOD'S MERCY

Humility is one of the means of grace that God designed for us as humans to deal with things in our lives that may be a hindrance to the flow of His grace.
Psalms 69:10(AMP) When I wept and HUMBLED MYSELF WITH FASTING, I was jeered at and humiliated
We HUMBLE ourselves before God by FASTING.
2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.
Pride is one of the greatest attacks from the devil every time God lifts us.
That's why God put something to remind apostle Paul that he was still human regardless of the deeper revelations he walked into.
Deuteronomy 9:25 "Thus I prostrated myself before the LORD; forty days and forty nights I kept prostrating myself, because the LORD had said He would destroy you.
There can't be a limit to God's lifting in your life every time you stand prostrate and walk on your knees.
That's the posture of humility and it attracts the help and mercy of God.
Numbers 12:3 Now the man Moses was very HUMBLE, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.
God dressed Moses with such grace and power because he maintained the posture of HUMILITY.
One of the things we need to grow into if we want to attract the grace of God is humility and fasting is one of the spiritual practices that put us in such a place.
