-Jesus is Lord----'The Triumphal Entry' -Palm Sunday- and Philippians 2-1-11 go together. Both speak to Christ's model for how Christians should live in a fallen world. Listen in to how it is that living a life of humility, of loving service, not only enriches the internal life of the church but it enables it to stand strong in the midst of a fallen, antagonistic world, bearing witness to the glorious attributes of the kingdom of God and to the lordship of Jesus Christ. Christ is presently establishing his kingdom and lordship not by means of the stallion and sword, but by means of the cross and the gospel. He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. The church is called to imitate Christ.
