In this encore presentation: meet artist Hung Liu. At age 16, she was sent to work in the Chinese countryside as part of Mao Zedong's Cultural Revolution, where intellectuals (and young people) were sent to be "re-educated." During her time there, she created art that was considered illegal: paintings of things she found pretty, candid photographs of peasants working in the fields.
