Listen Later

Aspen Bias brings heart to her work at Mountain Family Center focusing on Hunger Relief. In this segment of KFFR’s Public Affairs, Aspen joins us to talk about what food insecurity really looks like in Grand County and how her team is making sure no one goes hungry, even in a place where grocery trips can feel like backcountry expeditions.

From pantry logistics to statewide partnerships, Aspen breaks down how Mountain Family Center tackles hunger with creativity, community spirit, and the occasional laugh. Whether it’s nutrition education, resource coordination, or a friendly face when you need one most, the Center is a lifeline for many across our mountain towns.

Tune in for a thoughtful and surprisingly uplifting conversation about food, dignity, and what it takes to nourish a community.
