Stephen Hunt is the Managing Director of Hunt Hospitality, which provides employment and entrepreneurial opportunities across various venues in the Hunter region. His primary mission is to provide hospitality management where venues are humanised, communities are optimised, and growth and innovation are prioritised.

He is passionate about expanding and strengthening business development opportunities for Hunt Hospitality and its stakeholders and is responsible for turning a $400k business into a multi-million dollar enterprise.

In addition to his work with Hunt Hospitality, Stephen has been on the judging panel for numerous tourism and hospitality awards, is a regular guest expert in the media and has written for a variety of hospitality and tourism publications.

When given a spare moment, Stephen enjoys participating in a variety of competitions such as powerlifting and ocean swims. He also enjoys bringing his leadership skills to the field as an Assistant Coach for a kid's rugby team while also being a busy dad of five at home.
