Agencies Working Together is run by Steve Field of the Salvation Army and usefully brings charities providing services in Petersfeld  together every month, to share help and information. 

This month the Huntington's Disease Association (HDA) is speaking. Anne Stephenson, who is a Town Councillor, is the chair of the Hampshire & Isle of Wight HDA and speaks to Mike Waddington about the disease, the help the HDA provides and the very acute dilemmas families face when thinking about this rare genetic disease and the issues around testing.

Listeners should be aware that there is some distressing detail about this incurable disease in this interview and an exploration of ethical dilemmas that some may find upsetting.

It also includes details of the HDA's fund raising - abseiling the Spinnaker Tower on 17 May  - and the great kindnesses that are also uncovered.
