I don't know why it bothers me so much, but seeing the predictable typical take that weather forecasters have some evil ulterior motive to "fool us" about a hurricane threat... it drives me crazy.  People are risking their lives by flying in airplanes into the middle of a hurricane to feed data into software people stay up all hours of the night to develop just so you can know if maybe you should pick up some bottled water on the way home.  Hurricane Dorian might miss Tampa.  It  might not.  The next hurricane might not.  But weather forecasters, at least in Tampa, are giving you information so you can make plans you need to keep you and your family safe.  Plus I incorporate David Lee Roth, The Masked Singer and Idiocracy in my rant.
