During the Battle of Britain, fighter pilot Peter Blakey’s aircraft is shot down in flames.  Badly burned, Blakey survives and is placed under the care of pioneering surgeon Archibald McIndoe.  Hurricane Rash is the story of Blakey’s recovery and that of McIndoe’s other patients who would come to know themselves as the Guinea Pig Club.
