Following the pattern of Jesus Christ’s love for his bride, the church, husbands are exhorted to press towards that high mark of Christ’s love for the church. Husbands are called to be the provider, protector, savior, sanctifier, nourisher, and cherisher of their brides, following the love of Jesus Christ.
