The benefits of spending time in nature include both physical and mental wellbeing. By organically activating the senses through noticing, activities such as forest bathing (shinrin-yoku) can improve cardiovascular health by lowering blood pressure, boost immune system, reduce the stress hormone cortisol, and improve cognitive performance.
