Y'all aren't going to like to hear this....especially in a time when hustle is a word associated with shame and judgment..

In every single profession there is good and bad- we can't group everyone and all professions the same.

As an actor I met the kindest, most creative and beautiful people...I also met people that were so cruel, cold and mean.

When I joined this industry and announced online I would be building this business I did get a few rude messages in my dms and I can only imagine what people said behind my back when I started.

My why was stronger and I've alway lived outside the "normal" way of doing things so I had built up confidence and an ability to navigate rejection.

I'm going to dive into the start of my business and the different season I was in... and how this business has ebs and flows.

I think people are very resistant to going all in for the fear of failure. I knew if I gave it my all and never quit it would work for me. So just as a plane needs momentum .. I think people never actually even " get started" because they are always one foot in and one foot out.

I'm am a huge fan of hustling for short periods for specific reasons and goals. If you are building sustainably and with integrity then it can literally collapse time for you. I also know that hustling to the point of burn out and without boundaries is very toxic.

Hustling gave me this grace year with my health. I spent August in the bed, bath or doctor's office. Without hustle I would've never left my teaching job that simply didn't provide properly. I couldn't have stayed home with baby #2 and for every single drop off and pick up of kindergarten. When we got evicted and had to move I was still able to work my business from anywhere.

Without hustle I would be at the school working waiting for my life to begin.

To shame something that can give you presence and choices isn't ok.

Yes I still will go into seasons of hustle and sprinting - there is discipline built into my business. I would say over 40-50 percent of the time I'm not motivated to show up but I have built the habit. For over three years I have consistently showed the same green drink and offered the business opportunity.

I truly love what I do & the people I do it with. This is my purpose and passion outside of motherhood and I'm just getting started.
