Franklin graduated from The Evergreen State College in 2016 and became the men's basketball Head Assistant coach before starting Oly Basketball Academy in 2022. He was named interim Men's Head Basketball Coach in 2022. Franklin is also the Regional Director of the Northwest with West Coast Elite Basketball, impacting grassroots basketball with a Master's degree in Leadership.
