Hy-Vee, Inc. and the FDA have recalled Hy-Vee Short Cuts vegetable mix products. There is contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The products involved include Pot Roast Mix and Grill/Oven Ready Veggie Mix, were sold in IL, IA, KS, MN, MO, NE, SD, and WI. Listeria causes severe illness in the very young, the elderly, and the immune compromised as well as miscarriages and stillbirths. Discard these items or return them to the store for a full refund.
