The pandemic changed many things, including how, where, and when we work. Companies are sitting up and taking notice that the shift to working from home has resulted in more productivity. So much so, that some experts believe that hybrid work environments are here to stay. Human Resource rock stars Debbie Bolla and Lisa Yankie join the show to discuss what leading companies are doing to adjust to and make the most of hybrid work, for both the company’s bottom line and for their employees’ quality of life, because – why are we surprised about this? There really is a correlation between the two. 

To successfully embrace hybrid work requires adjustments on multiple fronts to reach an optimal balance. Regularly surveying employees and taking action on the feedback received helps employees feel heard, increases engagement, and elevates company culture. Surveys, regular check-ins, and dialog will help address some challenges that come with hybrid work – isolation, longer work hours, and burnout. Companies should be ready to address these risks by normalizing counseling and providing resources when employees need extra support.
