For four years, Mackay FFA member Hailey Hampton managed a hydroponics project with two goals in mind: to produce tomatoes and to turn a profit. Hailey not only has a green thumb – she also brought home the gold for her FFA chapter when she won $10,000 in the 2015 Culver’s FFA Essay Contest.
