This hymn is one in praise of Lord Krishna. The author of this hymn is not known. It consists of eight verses each
verse ending with the phrase ‘Krishnam vande Jagatgurum’ meaning ‘I prostrate Krishna, the Lord of the Universe’. At the end there is a phalasruti which says
that all the sins of those who get up early in the morning and recite this hymn would be completely destroyed.
