Hymn-Sriramastotram by Indra, the King of gods (M. Venkataraman)

Most of us are aware of Valmiki Ramayanam. It is considered to be the original and oldest version of the
Ramayana. Adhyathma Ramayanam is a spiritual version of Ramayanam and it finds a place in the Brahmanda Purana. It is the portrayal of a conversation between Lord Siva and Goddess Parvati as reported by Lord Brahma to Sage Narada. Its author is considered to be Sage Veda Vyasa. This is a much smaller work than the
Valmiki Ramayanam and contains about 4,000 verses.

The Adhyatma Ramayanam contains many hymns. In the Yudha Kanda, after the annihilation of Ravana, the gods hail the victory of Lord Rama. In Canto 13 of the Yudha Kanda, Indra, the king of gods, praises Lord Rama and that hymn is this Srirama Stotram.
