1) Colin Powell Dies: The Former Secretary of State under Pres. George W. Bush was also a 4 Star General.  He served as National Security Advisor and Chairman of Joint Chiefs for earlier Presidents.  Some say he was the perfect example of a true patriot, who loved and served his country whoever was in power.  What do you think? 

2)  North Korea launches Ballistic Missile from New Submarine?:  The Peoples Democratic Republic of North Korea, headed by Chairman Kim Jung Un,  just launched a  submarine launched  ballistic missile (SLBM).  This was about one week after South Korea had conducted a similar test in response to a NK missile test.   Does this represent a violation by NK of UN restrictions?  Is it start of a missile race?  What can be done?. 

3)  China Demonstrates a Nuclear-Weapon Capable Hypersonic Missile:  This past week the UK's Financial Times reported that China in January had successfully tested a hypersonic missile flying at least five times the speed of sound, which circled the globe and reentered as a gliding cruise missile. Wall Street Journal oped wrote: "China's Hypersonic Wake-Up Call".   It could strike the US without any way to stop it.  Are we in trouble? 

4) G-20 Summit Coming Up: On Oct 30-31, 2021 there will be a G-20 Summit in Rome.  It includes Italy, Russia, China, USA etc.  French Pres. Macron will be there to meet Biden. But China's Pres. Xi will not attend in person.  What do you expect to happen?
