I’ve lived alone with my dad for as long as I can remember. Since I could understand English, he brainwashed me to become hateful towards girls. He’d say things like “Bernie, listen to me. Girls are gross and carry many diseases.”, “If you talk to girls you will become dumb.”, “Girls are disgusting and should be avoided at all times. They’re also super boring and scared of everything.”

I idolized my father and wanted to become just like him. After all, he was the only parent I had. He was my only role model so I listened to everything he said.
