I didn’t have any allergies until I was 16. But last year, I developed an illness called “cold urticaria”, or cold allergy. When I say cold, I don’t just mean cold weather during winter. I’m allergic to all types of cold, including ice cream. I even have to sleep while wearing socks on hot summer nights. I’m pretty sure you’ll be shocked to hear of all the things I’ve been through.
