There is an episode of the Simpsons when Homer forgets to pick up Bart from soccer practice. Despite Marge reminding him, and Homer assuring her “I’m on my way” – he totally forgets! Even the dog starts barking “Bart, Bart” but Homer still forgets until he drops off to sleep and has a nightmare and remembers! Sometimes we may feel that Jesus has forgotten about us.
