"I Am Music" is the highly anticipated third studio album by American rapper Playboi Carti, set for release on March 14, 2025. This project follows his groundbreaking 2020 album Whole Lotta Red and marks a new era in his artistic evolution.

The album has undergone several changes over the years. Originally announced in 2021 under the title Narcissist, its release was delayed multiple times, later being renamed Music in 2022. In September 2024, Playboi Carti officially confirmed the final title, I Am Music, and began promoting the album.

The first single, "All Red", dropped on September 13, 2024, coinciding with Carti’s 27th birthday. Fans got a preview of the album during his Rolling Loud Miami performance on December 15, 2024, where he debuted five unreleased tracks, fueling anticipation for the full project.

"I Am Music" blends elements of punk, rap, and experimental sounds, showcasing Playboi Carti’s boundary-pushing creativity. The album features production from industry heavyweights like Kanye West, Travis Scott, Mike Dean, and Metro Boomin. Carti has also confirmed that the album will not include any featured artists, emphasizing his vision of a purely solo project.
