One of the biggest lies believed in this generation is that we are not enough. That who we are, who God created us to be, is not good enough.
In Matthew 22:37 the religious leaders at the time tried to test Jesus by asking him which of the commandments were greatest. He responds with 2, stating that they sum up the entirety of the law. The second of these is, 'Love your neighbour yourself'. Meaning, as you would love yourself, love those around you.
The problem with this, is that it can be very hard to love ourselves. Without first being able to love yourself, without believing that your identity in God is enough, it's impossible to love others as Jesus did.
It's the love of the Father in us, that allows us to love others!
