IS God looking for a "religious" people? people who know Him only through laws and ordinances but no relationship?

Is the human soul satisfied with reciting prayers and attending Sunday service that we dont yearn for an intimate relationship with our Savior?

Was Jesus not slightly annoyed in Luke 11 with the Pharisees and how they have "burdensome" the people their many laws?

Jesus is looking for a people who understands their need for a savior and not trying to earn their way to heaven through deeds or religious loopholes.
