“Jehovah Roi" - the God who sees (Gen 16:13–14).

God reveals himself as liberator, on the side of the weak, the desperate and the oppressed. He is not the God of the strong and the powerful- he meets and speaks to and makes promises to a slave woman.

If God says he sees and hears us (even in our mistakes), what does that say about my identity?

I am valued, included, never written out, never forgotten, there is no mistake too great.
