In “In Full Bloom,” I’m reflecting on growth, purpose, and how our calling can evolve as we do. Through faith and honest conversation, I’m learning to embrace who I’m becoming and trust God with what’s next. This episode is a reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out to keep blooming. 🩷
For Episode 25, I saved the best for last. ❤️
I’m closing out our series with my beautiful friend, Heaven. She’s mom of our group, our encourager, and one of the people I’m so grateful to have beside me.
We’re getting real about motherhood: mom guilt, raising our children while still being mothered ourselves, setting boundaries, raising boys versus girls, and learning to give ourselves grace when we simply can’t do it all.
Through plenty of laughter and real conversation, Heaven leaves us with a reminder I won’t forget:
Sometimes you can’t change the music. You just have to face the music and dance.
Welcome to Episode 25 of I Am The Ark Podcast: “Opening the Doors of Heaven.” We’re so glad you’re here!
This episode was recorded straight from the road—literally! Somewhere between Baltimore, Atlantic City, and a Buc-ee’s parking lot in Virginia, Chyna and I got into a conversation about age, relationships, boundaries, and the lessons life teaches you along the way. I’m learning that protecting my peace doesn’t mean shutting people out—it means being intentional about who gets access to me. Sometimes the walls we build aren’t meant to keep us hidden. They’re meant to remind us what’s worth protecting.
Welcome to Season 3 of I Am The Ark!!! This season, I’m stepping into a new chapter and learning what it means to live freely, love myself fully, and protect the person I’m becoming.
After divorce, I’m realizing that protecting my heart, mind, body, spirit, and access to me is now my responsibility. But I’m also learning that protection shouldn’t become a prison.
In this episode, I talk about rediscovering myself, setting boundaries, allowing myself to be vulnerable, and having the courage to experience something new even when there’s a chance it may not work out.
I can guard my heart without closing it. I can protect my peace while still being open to love, happiness, and whatever comes next.
I’m protecting myself, I’m not hiding anymore. Welcome to Season 3, I’m so glad you’re here 💕
In this episode I’m joined by my close friend Ashley Burris for an honest conversation about faith, friendship, grief, and what it looks like to keep showing up when life feels heavy. After an emotionally exhausting week, I reflect on healing through divorce and learning that faith doesn’t always make the darkness disappear but it gives us enough light to keep moving through it. Sometimes we don’t need to see the whole road ahead. We just need to turn on the light and take the next step.
Content Disclaimer: This episode includes sensitive conversations surrounding mental health, depression, suicidal ideation, and psychiatric hospitalization. Please take care of yourself while listening, and if the conversation becomes too heavy, it’s okay to step away.
In this special episode, I’m joined by Corinthia Leonard, mental health advocate and the newest member of the I Am the Ark team. Together, we have an honest conversation about our mental health journeys, medication, self-advocacy, healing, and the complicated intersection between faith and mental health.
Our journeys may look different, but one thing remains the same: needing help does not make you weak, and you are never alone.
Sometimes, you just need a minute. Take it. ❤️
In this special 20th episode of I Am the Ark, I reflect on one year since my GBS diagnosis, celebrate reaching 16 countries across six continents, and share one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make, mailing off my divorce papers. Through it all, God reminded me that before we can step into what’s next, we have to settle the matter. If you’ve been holding onto something that’s keeping you from moving forward, this episode is for you. Let’s settle it together and trust God with what’s on the other side.
This week, I’m sharing from a place of complete honesty. I’m tired, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. But I’m learning that faith isn’t about always feeling strong. It’s about showing up anyway. Join me as I talk about grief, resilience, and what it looks like to keep trusting God even when I have nothing left to give.
When I think of grief, I don’t just think about losing someone to death. I think about grieving the person I used to be, the place that once felt like home, and the life I thought I would have. In this deeply personal episode, I share my own journey through loss, change, and healing, while reminding you that even in our hardest seasons, God is still present. If you’ve ever grieved a relationship, your health, your home, or a version of yourself, I hope this episode reminds you that you are not alone.
In this special live episode of I Am The Ark, I answer questions about my faith, healing journey, and the story behind the podcast. We talk about purpose, perseverance, motherhood, and what it means to keep trusting God through life’s hardest seasons.
If you’ve ever felt broken, lost, or unsure of what’s next, this episode is for you. My prayer is that it reminds you that you’re not alone, your story isn’t over, and one day, you will walk again.
