Jesus is determined to transform our motivations. He does so by clarifying, cleansing, and changing those motivations.

What is it that we expect from Jesus? Do we want what He can offer us? What He can do for us? Or, do we long to know Him, to experience Him, and to see Him as the ultimate gift.

What we pursue either satisfies or starves our souls. Jesus came to create an appetite for the things of God: the things that last, the things that give meaning to life, and the things that satisfy our souls.
