When we hear Jesus say, "I am the good shepherd" we find comfort in those words. Jesus promises to "lay down his life" for us, the sheep. While we can find comfort in this, there is also a charge to us. Our action can model Jesus as the good shepherd by taking risks to follow Christ and care for God's sheep.
